Biography

About Ms. Katherine

My family moved to Morristown when I turned five years old, and my brothers and I attended Morristown School. I started in kindergarten and went through eighth grade here, and then went to Wickenburg High School. I received a softball scholarship to Eastern Arizona College for two years. Eventually, I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. After student teaching at Vulture Peak Middle School, I started teaching at Morristown Elementary School. My experience in Morristown has been varied; I started off teaching 7th and 8th grades combined for the first seven years, then 5th and 6th grades combined for five years. After that, I taught just 6th grade for one year and have now been teaching 5th grade since 2009. I am very proud to say that I have one daughter who also attended Morristown Elementary School and is now an elementary school teacher in Arizona.
