Food Services

We pride ourselves on offering students a healthy breakfast and lunch each day while at school. We offer students a selection of  fresh fruit and vegetables daily via our fruit and veggie bar. We are aware that healthy habits start in childhood, and we want to do our part in developing lifelong healthy choices.

Food Service Guidelines

Please review the following food service program guidelines:

  • We serve breakfast from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. To ensure that students get to class on time and to allow enough time for lunch preparations, we cannot serve breakfast to students who arrive after 8:30 a.m.
  • We issue all students a pin number and apply meal funds to it. Currently, every student receives one free breakfast and one free lunch every day thanks to a special grant. However, students must pay for anything over the allotted amount.
  • Program benefits and services are available to all children without regard to race, sex, handicap, age, or national origin. If a doctor has determined a child has a handicap that prevents the child from eating the regular school meal, the school will make any substitutions the doctor prescribes. There will be no extra charge for prescribed, substituted meals. If you believe your child needs substitutions because of a handicap, please let us know.
