Mrs. Messner's Bio
The 2023-2024 will be my 18th year of teaching. Before I became the Reading Interventionist and ELL Coordinator, I was a classroom teacher. I have taught all grades 3rd thru 8th. I came to Morristown School in 2013 after teaching in 2 other districts.
I have a BAed in elementary education with an English as a Second Language endorsement. I have taken numerous courses specializing in reading, and I continue to keep up with the most recent research.
Spending time with my family is very important to me. I am a step-mom to 3 and Grandma to seven. I also love gardening and reading for pleasure. It has been a joy spending my time teaching (especially at Morristown).
