Welcome to 3rd Grade! I am excited to begin my first year teaching at Morristown Elementary School and look forward to partnering with students and families for a wonderful year of learning and growth.
I earned my bachelor's degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and am currently pursuing my master's degree at Arizona Christian University. Throughout my career, I have worked with children in a variety of roles, which has strengthened my passion for creating a positive, engaging classroom where every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children. I love the outdoors, reading, watching movies, and traveling. I have been fortunate to visit 16 countries, every U.S. state except Hawaii, and every Canadian province. I also lived in both the Netherlands and Brazil, where I graduated from high school, experiences that gave me a deep appreciation for different cultures and perspectives.
Before becoming a teacher, I spent 15 years working in New York City, where I experienced both the events of September 11, 1991 & 2001, and the Northeast Blackout of 2003. Those experiences reinforced the importance of resilience, community, and gratitude—values I strive to model in my classroom every day.
I am honored to be part of the Morristown Elementary community and can't wait to help my students learn, grow, and discover a love of learning this year!
